About

Lauren Crispell, LMFT

The way we relate to ourselves and others shapes nearly every part of our lives. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I help individuals and couples better understand the patterns, experiences, and relationships that influence how they feel, connect, and move through the world. Whether you're navigating a relationship challenge, a major life transition, or simply feeling disconnected from the person you want to be, therapy can provide an opportunity to gain insight, build resilience, and create meaningful change. Relationships are at the heart of much of my work. I help couples move beyond recurring conflicts, strengthen communication, heal relational wounds, and deepen emotional connection. Together, we work to better understand the dynamics that keep partners feeling stuck and develop new ways of relating that foster trust, intimacy, and security. Whether you're dating, engaged, married, recovering from a betrayal, or seeking clarity about your future, therapy can offer a space for honest exploration and growth. I also work with individuals navigating anxiety, self-esteem concerns, family dynamics, life transitions, and questions about identity, purpose, and direction. I have a particular passion for supporting young adults as they build confidence, establish healthy boundaries, and create lives that align with their values. My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and holistic, integrating practical tools with deeper insight-oriented work and an appreciation for the mind-body connection. Outside of my role as a therapist, I’m also a wife, sister, and daughter, which gives me a deep appreciation for both the joys and complexities of close relationships. I offer therapy to clients throughout Colorado and coaching to individuals and couples seeking support with personal growth, relationships, and life transitions. About Me Originally from Houston, Texas, I moved to Colorado to continue my education at Colorado State University, where I earned a master’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy. I’m currently a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Colorado. My husband and I live in Breckenridge with our rescue dog, Bailey. When I’m not meeting with clients, I spend as much time as I can outdoors enjoying the Colorado sunshine. I also love quality time with friends and family, traveling, hiking, and learning everything I can about wellness and relationships. Further Information About My Practice I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #MFT.0002704) in the State of Colorado, regulated by the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA), Division of Professions and Occupations, Mental Health Licensing Section.
